Naya Rappaport Q&A with Yovada Life

1. Whats your yoga story?

My mother introduced me to Bikram yoga 15 years ago. However, I dedicated myself to daily yoga practice October 2012.

2. What’s your favorite song to practice to, or favorite playlist?

I prefer to practice with no music or maybe just white noise in the background. When I teach I open pandora and my favorite station is : Sanskrit. It plays music with no lyrics and it was like a Moroccan, Arabic … Indian type of feel.

3. What is something you’ve learned from yoga that resonates with you the most?

I have learned way too much and will continue to expand my studies. For right now… I am embracing that change is constant. I constantly need to update my facts to re-evaluate and update my “truth.”

My most memorable yoga experiences are breakthroughs. The times that I have cried on my mat and in class.
Times that I have cried during meditation. Happy and sad tears.
